What is the difference between the SSM-iCON 250 and the SSM-iCON 400?
The SSM-iCON 400 is the higher capacity version. It measures 0.09 to 11.6 m³/h (3 to 410 cfh) with Class 1 accuracy to ANSI B109.6, against 0.007 to 7.1 m³/h for the SSM-iCON 250, and adds a 30LT connection to the 10LT, 20LT and Sprague options. Both work at up to 34.5 kPa (5 psig) and share the safety shut-off and the NB-IoT/Cat-M1 module.
What safety functions does the SSM-iCON 400 have?
Pressure and temperature monitoring sensors allow it to stop the gas flow on temperature (fire), pressure or seismic events, and the valve can also be closed from remote. The polycarbonate electronics case is suitable for outdoor installation, the meter is rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, and it is certified cULus Class 1 Div 1 for hazardous areas.
