What is the HM gas meter?
The HM, also called HyMeter, is a hybrid smart gas meter for commercial connections. It combines a diaphragm measuring unit with an electronic totalizer, temperature and pressure sensors, and a GSM/GPRS module with remote firmware upgrade. It comes as HM10, HM16 and HM25 (G10 to G25), up to 40 m³/h, with class 1.5 accuracy and a 500 mbar maximum working pressure.
What is the difference between the HM and the HM-iCON?
Both are hybrid meters for commercial users from G10 to G25. The HM uses a GSM/GPRS module, with wireless M-Bus at 169 or 868 MHz on request, and is MID approved as a converter plus meter (PTZ or PT). The HM-iCON adds NB-IoT, a DLMS-based open protocol and up to 16 years of NB-IoT communication battery life.
