What is the SSM-iCON 250?
The SSM-iCON 250 is an ultrasonic smart gas meter for residential low pressure networks, built to North American practice. It is rated 250 cfh (7 m³/h at 0.125 kPa differential pressure), measures 0.007 to 7.1 m³/h with Class 1 accuracy to ANSI B109.0, and works at up to 34.5 kPa (5 psig). Connections are 10LT, 20LT or Sprague.
Can the SSM-iCON 250 shut off gas during a fire or earthquake?
Yes. Its monitoring sensors can stop the gas flow on temperature (fire), pressure or seismic events, and the valve can also be closed remotely. The communication module carries both NB-IoT and Cat-M1 and is interchangeable. The metrology battery is rated for 20 years and the replaceable communication battery for up to 20 years.
