What is the Norflux regulator?
The Norflux is a 2 inch spring loaded, direct operated regulator for high pressure transmission and medium pressure distribution, with city gates and district stations as typical uses. Its flyer gives 14.5 to 1378 psig (0.1 to 9.5 MPa) inlet, 10 to 58 psig (0.07 to 0.4 MPa) outlet and a 1450 psig (10 MPa) design pressure. It is fail open under EN 334, with Class 300 or 600 RF or RTJ flanges.
Is the Norflux available with a slam shut valve?
Yes, an incorporated slam shut valve is available. The flyer also states compatibility with biomethane and 20% hydrogen blending, with higher blending on request. The page notes that the Norflux is offered in selected markets only. For a similar low outlet pressure in a 1 inch body, consider the Dival 160 AP (0.85 to 4.5 bar outlet).
