What is the Dival 160 AP used for?
The Dival 160 AP is a 1 inch direct operated regulator, controlled by diaphragm and spring. It takes 1.4 to 85 bar inlet and delivers a low outlet of 0.85 to 4.5 bar. It is fail open under EN 334, with Class 300 or 600 RF or RTJ flanges. Uses include city gates, gas storage and power generation.
Can the Dival 160 AP be supplied with a slam shut valve?
Yes. The Dival 160 AP accepts the SB/87 slam shut valve for overpressure protection. If your outlet pressure must be higher than 4.5 bar, look at the Staflux 185 (1 to 75 bar outlet) or, for pilot operated control, the Dixi AP (0.5 to 25 bar outlet).
