What is the Staflux 187 used for?
The Staflux 187 is a 1 inch direct operated regulator for very high inlet pressures: 2 to 250 bar, with design pressure up to 250 bar and a 1 to 75 bar outlet. It has Class 1500 RF or RTJ flanges, is fail open under EN 334 and does not require gas pre-heating. Applications include city gates, compressor stations, gas storage and power generation.
Should I choose the Staflux 187 or the Staflux Mini?
Both handle up to 250 bar in a 1 inch body. The Staflux 187 is fail open, with accuracy up to AC 5 and outlet from 1 bar. The Staflux Mini is fail close, has a built-in filter, starts at 5 bar inlet and 4 bar outlet, and is also used on CNG trailers. Choose by the fail mode your station design requires.
