What is the Aperflux 101 used for?
The Aperflux 101 is a pilot operated, fail open gas pressure regulator for high pressure transmission and medium pressure natural gas distribution. Typical sites are city gates, compressor and booster stations, gas storage and heavy industry. It takes 1.8 to 85 bar inlet and controls 0.8 to 74 bar outlet, in 2, 3 and 4 inch with Class 300 or 600 RF or RTJ flanges.
Should I choose the Aperflux 101 or the Aperflux 851?
Both are fail open pilot operated regulators with a 0.8 to 74 bar outlet range. The Aperflux 101 comes in 2 to 4 inch and needs a 1 bar minimum differential. The Aperflux 851 covers 1 to 10 inch, works from 0.5 bar differential, accepts silencer, slam shut and monitor options, and is hydrogen ready. Choose the 851 for a wider size range or built-in accessories.
