Where is the IM-RM rotary meter used?
The IM-RM is used in gas distribution systems, district stations, city gates, compressor stations and end users such as chemical and processing plants, gas engines and power generation. It measures filtered, dry and non-corrosive gases, including specialty gases and biomethane, from 0.5 to 1,000 m³/h in DN40 to DN150, with design pressure up to 25 barg.
Is the IM-RM approved for custody transfer?
The flyer states that Pietro Fiorentini rotary meters are approved for custody transfer applications. The IM-RM is designed to EN 12480 and OIML R137-1&2:2012 and certified under the MID, PED and ATEX directives. Accuracy is within ±1% from Qt to Qmax and ±2% below Qt, with repeatability better than 0.1%. Approval in a specific country should be confirmed per project.
