What is the Aperval used for?
The Aperval is a pilot operated gas pressure regulator for medium and low pressure natural gas distribution networks, district stations and medium or small industry. It takes inlet pressure from 0.5 to 25 bar and controls the outlet from 5 mbar to 9.5 bar, in sizes from 1 to 4 inches. It is classified Fail Open under EN 334, with accuracy up to 1% absolute.
Can the Aperval be fitted with a slam shut or monitor?
Yes. Its modular design takes a PM/182 monitor, an SA slam shut and a DB silencer on the same body. If you need a compact pilot regulator without built-in accessories, the Aperval 101 is the alternative. The Aperval flyer states biomethane compatibility and 10% hydrogen blending, with higher blends available on request.
