Frequently asked questions
Is the Dixi Fail Open or Fail Close?
Both versions exist. Under EN 334 the Dixi is Fail Close with a pilot from series 200/A and Fail Open with a pilot from series 210/A. The Dixi flyer notes that the PED-CE marking does not apply to regulators fitted with the 210 series pilot. Choose the fail mode that matches the protection concept of your station.
Does the Dixi outlet range change with the slam shut?
Yes. Without slam shut the Dixi controls the outlet from 7 mbar to 6 bar; with the incorporated LA slam shut the range is 7 mbar to 4.6 bar. Inlet pressure is 0.5 to 16 bar, sizes are 1, 1-1/2 and 2 inches, and accuracy class reaches 2.5. The flyer lists 20% hydrogen blending compatibility.
Do you supply the Dixi in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC?
Yes. Our Al Khobar team supplies and supports the Dixi for gas networks and district stations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Tell us whether you need Fail Open or Fail Close, with or without slam shut, plus your pressures and flow, and we will quote.
