What does the three-in-one design of the Terval AP mean?
The Terval AP is modular: the PM/182 emergency monitor and the SB/82 slam shut valve can be fitted on the same body as the regulator, and a DB/819 silencer as well. This gives three functions in one body and a compact pressure reduction line. With the incorporated monitor, the Cg is about 5% lower than the standard version.
Is the Terval AP fail close or fail open?
Its flyer and technical brochure classify the Terval AP as fail close under EN 334. It takes 0.5 to 100 bar inlet and controls 0.3 to 74 bar outlet, with accuracy up to AC 1 and a 0.5 bar minimum differential. Sizes are 1, 2 and 3 inch, with 4 inch on special request.
