Frequently asked questions
Is the Reflux 819 fail open or fail close?
Either. Under EN 334 the Reflux 819 is classified fail close or fail open depending on the pilot installed (the PM/819 monitor excepted). It reaches accuracy class AC 1 and lock-up class SG 2.5, takes 0.8 to 100 bar inlet and controls 0.3 to 74 bar outlet. For a true fail open plug and seat design, choose the Reflux 819/FO.
What sizes and accessories does the Reflux 819 offer?
The Reflux 819 runs from 1 to 12 inch with Class 150, 300 or 600 RF or RTJ flanges or PN 16, for city gates, power plants and gas engines. Options are the DB/819 and LDB/171 silencers, the PM/819 monitor and the SB/82 or HB/97 slam shut valves. An Arctic version covers ambient temperatures from -40 to +60 °C.
