Modus Mini Single-Channel Electronic Volume Converter with Embedded Modem
Modus Mini is a single-channel Electronic Volume Converter (EVC) with an embedded 2G / Cat-M1 / NB-IoT modem, powered by long-life batteries. A piezoresistive pressure sensor and a PT1000 temperature sensor feed the volume conversion. It is MID certified and ATEX certified for Zone 1 hazardous areas with IIC group gas, and is designed for commercial and industrial applications.

DLMS/COSEM with authentication and encryption, plus over-the-air firmware updates. Supports RED 2014/53/EU cybersecurity requirements.
Flexible Installation
Wall, pipe, meter or flange mounting with the supplied universal bracket. Lateral cable entries and a UV-resistant enclosure for outdoor use.

What is the Modus Mini used for?
The Modus Mini is a single-channel electronic volume converter for commercial and industrial gas metering. It reads the LF pulse output of a gas meter up to 3 Hz, measures pressure and temperature, and converts the metered volume with AGA-8 DC92, S-GERG 88 or SGERG-mod-H2. Its flyer names medium and small industry, biomethane production and city gates as applications.
Should I choose the Modus Mini, the Modus or the Modus Slim2?
Choose the Modus when a station needs two PTZ channels and extra inputs, with Modbus or CTR protocol in ATEX Zone 0. The Modus Slim2 is a compact PTZ converter with integrated pressure and temperature sensors and a GSM/GPRS modem for Zone 0. The Modus Mini is single-channel with an NB-IoT / Cat-M1 modem, DLMS/COSEM protocol, a 15-year metrology battery and ATEX Zone 1 certification.
