The PVS 782 is a pilot-operated relief valve where the opening and closing of the main plug is controlled by a pilot device which is very sensitive to the variations of the in-line pressures. This device suits high-pressure transmission systems and medium-pressure gas distribution networks, compatible with natural gas and previously treated, non-corrosive gaseous fluids.

How does the PVS 782 relief valve work?
In the PVS 782 a pilot controls the opening and closing of the main plug. The pilot is very sensitive to line pressure changes, so the valve reacts fast and with high accuracy when pressure passes the set point. The relief range is 1.5 to 75 barg, and maximum overpressure accuracy is up to 15 percent. It is designed to ISO 4126-4 and certified to PED.
PVS 782 or PVS 803: which one should I choose?
Both are pilot operated, rated to 102 bar and share the 1.5 to 75 barg relief range. The PVS 782 comes in DN 100, 150 and 200 (4, 6 and 8 inch) for larger relief duty at city gates and transmission stations. The PVS 803 covers 1 to 6 inch and is stated at accuracy up to 10 percent.
