Xtreme S Dedicated Wet Gas Flow Meter
The Xtreme S Wetgas Meter is a modular, non-intrusive, non-radioactive, inline system that measures oil, water, and gas flow rates in wetgas conditions without separation or moving parts. It combines differential pressure (Venturi inlet) and velocity measurements with Microwave WLR meter technology for real-time flow rate measurements.

What is a wet gas meter, and what does Lockhart-Martinelli below 0.3 mean?
A wet gas meter measures gas wells that also carry small amounts of oil and water. The Lockhart-Martinelli parameter expresses how wet the gas is, comparing the liquid to the gas flow; the higher it is, the wetter the stream. The Xtreme S is built for wet gas regimes with Lockhart-Martinelli below 0.3 and 90 to 100 percent GVF.
How accurate is the Xtreme S, and what sizes are available?
Typical uncertainty is 4 percent relative on gas rate, and 10 percent relative on liquid rate above 10 m³/h. It measures 0 to 100 percent WLR, comes from 2 to 14 inch and is rated to 345 bar and 121 °C. The Xtreme S uses no radioactive source but can be upgraded to a radioactive type.
