Why choose the Flowatch 3i multiphase flow meter without a radioactive source?
The Flowatch 3i does not use any radioactive source, which avoids documentation, importation and handling issues and lets operators manage installation and maintenance themselves. It covers 0 to 100 percent water cut and 0 to 92 percent GVF, with typical liquid rate uncertainty of 3 percent up to 80 percent GVF. It can be upgraded to a radioactive type later.
What sizes and ratings does the Flowatch 3i offer?
Sizes start from 0.5 inch, with design pressure up to 345 bar and temperature up to 121 °C. Pressure drop is below 1 bar. Body materials are AISI 316, duplex or Inconel 625, and a skid mounted version is available. For wells above 92 percent GVF, consider the Flowatch HS (98 percent) or the Totem (100 percent).
