How does the ASX 176/FO differ from the ASX 176?
The ASX 176/FO is the fail open version; its flyer calls it a true fail open plug and seat regulator. It covers 3 to 100 bar inlet and 1 to 74 bar outlet, needs a 2 bar minimum differential, and reaches accuracy up to AC 2.5 and lock-up up to SG 10. The fail close ASX 176 reaches AC 1 and works from 0.5 bar differential. Sizes and flanges are the same.
Which accessories are available for the ASX 176/FO?
The flyer lists the LDB/176 silencer, the PM/176 monitor and the SSX 176 slam shut valve. The body is ASTM A350 LF2 steel, with Class 300 or 600 RF or RTJ flanges per ASME B16.5, in 1 to 6 inch. It is designed to EN 334 for previously filtered, non-corrosive gases.
