How is the BF 32 different from the BF 31?
The BF 32 covers smaller lines, DN 50 to DN 250 (2 to 10 inch), while the BF 31 covers 12 to 24 inch. The BF 32 body and butterfly are ASTM A105 steel, and the butterfly carries two sealing rings. A hole in the body lets you check the internal seal without removing the valve from the line.
What pressure and temperature limits apply to the BF 32?
Maximum working pressure is 16 bar with PN 16 flanges and 19 bar with ANSI 150 RF flanges. The working temperature range is -10 to +150 °C with the Viton seal, and -10 to +100 °C with nitrile. It suits gas, compressed air and hydrocarbons in medium and low pressure distribution networks.
