What is the RS/2,4 gas meter?
The RS/2,4 (also written RS 2.4) is a mechanical diaphragm gas meter for residential low pressure distribution. It covers G4 (0.04 to 6 m³/h) and G6 (0.06 to 10 m³/h) with accuracy class 1.5, a 2.4 litre cyclic volume and a zinc-coated pressed steel case. The standard connection is 1¼ inch ISO 228, with other sizes on request.
Which standards and gases does the RS/2,4 cover?
The flyer (French edition) states that the RS/2,4 is designed to OIML R137 and EN 1359 and certified under MID 2014/32/EU, with a maximum operating pressure of 500 mbar. It measures natural gas, manufactured gas, LPG and other non-corrosive, pre-filtered gases, and is compatible with biomethane and blends of up to 20% hydrogen.
